Leave No Trace Training

The Sugarlands Visitor Center Volunteer Coordinator, Brad Free, has planned a Leave No Trace training next Wednesday, April 21st at Metcalf Bottoms. They have plenty of space for Volunteers throughout the park to join in the training if any of you are interested. I apologize for the last-minute offer, but we do appreciate the opportunity being offered to all. Hopefully, we can persuade the instructors, Pam Rodgers and Mike Braun, to do more of the trainings later this year – thanks Pam & Mike!

If you’re available, the training session will begin at 9:30 and go through lunch. So, bring a picnic lunch and come hear about Leave No Trace!

If you are interested in participating, contact NPS Volunteer Coordinator Dana Soehn at 865-436-1265
